What are some of the things you are uncomfortable with living in Korea and need help?
Perhaps the biggest concern is to solve economic problems through jobs.
Famigo was launched to help expants in Korea solve their problem and find jobs.
Today, we interviewed Gunel Mehdizade from Azerbaijan to find out how Famigo is helping her.

Q : Please briefly introduce yourself

My name is Gunel Mehdizade, and I’m currently in the last semester of my bachelor’s degree. I’m 24 years old and from Azerbaijan, studying at a university in Korea. I’ve been living in Korea for 4.5 years now.

Q : How did you come to Korea, and how have you been living so far?

I came to Korea through a scholarship program to study chemistry. I love living in Korea, especially in Busan, where I completed my language training and fell in love with the city. For my bachelor’s degree, I moved to Seoul, which I also love.

Q : What are the good and bad things about being in Korea?

The good part is gaining independence, learning how to stand on your own feet, and making your own decisions. The downside could be the language barrier and getting used to the fast-paced lifestyle, where everything needs to be done quickly.

Q : How did you find out about Famigo, and how did it help you?

As I mentioned, I’m in my last year and preparing to graduate, so I started searching for jobs related to my major. I was hoping to work in Busan, and fortunately, I came across Famigo. It was a great find!

Q: What kind of services would you like Famigo to have?

I uploaded my information in the application section, and the website contacted me directly via email. Through the site, they found many opportunities for me to work.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

My plan is to work in my field, improve my skills, and contribute to the advancement of chemistry in Korea. I also aim to gain experience and progress in my career.

Q: What would you like to say to your foreign friends?

Don’t lose hope, and keep doing your best. Please use this app because, unlike other popular apps, this website is more welcoming to foreigners. They focus on helping you find the best opportunities. Unfortunately, there aren’t many users yet, so they can focus on you more and consistently find the best options for you.
