The guidelines for the period of voluntary departure of illegal foreigners in 24 years came out.
As five government ministries have implemented a five-year plan to reduce illegal foreigners since April, it is believed that there will be no such "amnesty" benefits in the future.

1. Period
September 30, 2024 (tomorrow based on the posting date) to November 30, 2024
2. Subjects
Illegal foreigners leaving the country on their own during the period
3. Excluded person
Smugglers, counterfeit or falsified passports, criminal offenders, non-compliance with departure orders, etc
4. benefits
- Exemption of fines for voluntary departure after voluntary report within the relevant period
- Exemption from the suspension of entry regulations in the future when voluntarily leaving the country after voluntary reporting within the relevant period
- Additional fines are also exempted for those under the age of 17 who are obligated to apply when leaving the country
5. voluntary departure procedures
- Flight/ship ticket reservation on departure date
- Pre-reporting online/offline 3 to 15 days before departure date (entry office or Hi Korea site under the jurisdiction of the address)
- Output and preparation of voluntary departure declaration
- Criminal examination at airport, issuance of departure order
- departure to one's home country

2. 대상자
해당 기간에 스스로 출국하는 불법체류 외국인
3. 제외 대상자
밀입국자, 위·변조 여권 행사자, 형사범죄자, 출국명령 불이행자 등
4. 혜택
- 해당 기간 내 자진 신고 후 자진 출국시 과태료 면제
- 해당 기간 내 자진 신고 후 자진 출국시 향후 입국규제 유예의 면제
- 17세 미만자와 동반으로 출국 시 신청 의무자에 대한 과태료도 추가로 면제
5. 자진 출국 절차
- 출국일 항공권/선박권 예매
- 출국일 기준 3~15일 전 온/오프라인 사전 신고(주소지 관할 출입국사무소 혹은 하이코리아 사이트)
- 자진출국신고서 출력 및 준비
- 공항에서의 사범심사, 출국명령서 발급
- 본국으로 출국
