Compared to other regions, Gokseong-gun has more posting allocations as it specifies the conditions in detail.
Today is F-2-R visa news that only '54 people' are recruited from Gokseong-gun.
1. Educational/Income (requires only one of the two requirements)
- (Education) A graduate of a two-year junior college or higher who has obtained a degree in domestic vocational studies or is expected to graduate
- Evidence of expected graduation is required within 6 months from the date of application (submission of documents in the name of the university president and the head of the department), and submission of evidentiary documents such as degree certificates when extending the first stay
- (Income) Only the applicant's (self) income is recognized
- (Based on the amount of income) As of the date of application, the previous year* Gross National Income per capita (GNI) of 70% or more
- (Approved Income) Summing of the following income under Article 4 (1) of the Income Tax Act
- Interest income, dividend income, business income, earned income, pension income, and other income
- Each income is recognized only when income tax has been paid
- In the case of income that is not required to pay income tax pursuant to Article 12 (non-taxable income) of the Income Tax Act, the relevant supporting data, etc. are reviewed to determine whether to recognize it
2. one's place of residence
- As of the date of permission, the first two years must actually reside in the Gokseong-gun area, and the residence can be relocated to the permitted area (other population-reduced area within the same metropolitan government) after two years
3. Refusal to get a visa
- Where a person is sentenced for a crime related to Article 2 of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Specific Violent Crimes
- Where five years have not passed since a sentence of imprisonment or higher (including probation) has been sentenced in Korea or abroad
- Where a fine of more than 3 million won is imposed within three years
- Where the total amount of fines received in violation of the Immigration Control Act within three years is more than 5 million won
- Where a fine has been imposed more than three times within the last three years
-Persons subject to entry prohibition as prescribed in Article 11 (1) of the Immigration Control Act
4. Basic literacy (only one of the following two requirements is required)
- Completion of social integration program at least 4 steps or allocation of at least 5 steps in pre-evaluation
- Acquisition of Level 4 or higher of the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK)

- (인정되는 소득) 「소득세법」 제4조제1항에 따른 다음 소득을 합산
- 이자소득, 배당소득, 사업소득, 근로소득, 연금소득, 기타소득
- 각 소득은 소득세를 납부한 경우에만 인정
- 「소득세법」 제12조(비과세소득)에 따라 소득세를 납부하지 않아도 되는 소득일 경우 관련 증빙자료 등을 검토하여 인정 여부 결정
2. 거주지
- 허가일 기준 최초 2년은 곡성군 지역에 실거주해야 하며, 2년 경과 시 허용지역(동일 광역자치단체 내 다른 인구감소지역)으로 거주지 이전 가능
3. 비자 발급 거부 사항
- 특정강력범죄의 처벌에 관한 특례법」 제2조 관련 범죄로 형을 선고받은 경우
- 국내 또는 해외에서 금고 이상의 형(집행유예 포함)의 선고를 받고 5년이 지나지 않은 경우
- 3년 이내에 300만 원 이상의 벌금형을 선고받은 경우
- 3년 이내에 출입국관리법을 위반하여 받은 범칙금 합산 금액이 500만 원 이상인 경우
- 최근 3년 이내에 3회 이상 범칙금 처분을 받은 경우
-「출입국관리법」 제11조 제1항에서 정한 입국 금지 대상자
4. 기본소양 (아래 두 요건 중 하나만 충족하면 됨)
- 사회통합프로그램 4단계 이상 이수 또는 사전평가에서 5단계 이상 배정
- 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 4급 이상 취득
