Today, I would like to inform you that the recruitment guidelines for scholarship students specializing in GKS Korea-Japan Education Exchange and Cooperation Project in 2025 have been announced.
In addition, the GKS other scholarships have not been closed yet, so please participate if you are interested in them.

1. Eligibility to apply: Person who holds Japanese nationality
- The parent (or legal guardian) of the applicant must be a foreign national holder, and if the applicant or parent is a multiple Korean national, it is not possible to apply
- If the applicant or parent had Korean nationality, submitting documents issued by the Korean government proving the departure or loss of Korean nationality
- If the nationality of the applicant changes during the examination period, the examination is excluded
2. Educational background
- Professional B.A./B.A. course: high school graduates (scheduled)
- Those who have a bachelor's degree or higher in master's (doctor's) program
3. Grades
- In the previous course, all grades were within the top 20% or 80% or more in percentage conversion
- CGPA 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 or higher
4. Age
- Professional/academic history: Under 25 years of age
- Master/doctor: Under 40
5. preferential treatment
- Those who have acquired TOPIK level 3 or higher (those who pass TOPIK level 5 or lower will enter the school if they acquire TOPIK level 3 or higher after one year of Korean language training)
6. Support Restrictions
- A person who has graduated (scheduled) from a domestic high school (including a foreign school) or (professional) university
- A person who has received a degree program scholarship from the Korean government
A person who has received a degree program scholarship from a government agency other than the National Institute for International Education
- A person who has been a GKS degree program scholarship student for the last three years and gave up before admission after being finally accepted, and his/her acceptance of the degree program has been canceled

- 지원자 또는 부모가 한국 국적을 가졌던 경우, 한국 국적 이탈 또는 상실을증명하는 한국정부 발행 서류 제출 ․
- 심사기간 중 지원자의 국적이 변경되는 경우, 심사 제외

- 전문학사/학사 과정: 고등학교 졸업(예정)자
- 석사(박사)과정은 학사(석사)학위 이상 소지자
3. 성적
- 직전 과정 모든 학년 종합 성적이 상위 20% 이내 혹은 백분율 환산점수 80% 이상
- CGPA 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 이상
4. 연령
- 전문학사/학사: 만 25세 미만
- 석사/박사 : 만 40세 미만
5. 우대사항
- TOPIK 3급 이상 취득한 자(TOPIK 5급 미만 합격자는 한국어 연수 1년 과정 후 TOPIK 3급 이상 취득시 진학)
6. 지원 제한 사항
- 국내 고등학교(외국인학교 포함) 혹은 (전문) 대학을 졸업(예정)한 사람
- 한국 정부로부터 학위과정 장학금을 수혜받은 사람
국립국제교육원 외 타 정부기관으로부터 학위과정 장학금을 받은 사람
- 최근 3년간 GKS 학위과정 장학생으로 최종합격 후 입학 전 포기해 학위과정 합격이 취소된 사람
