Now the 2nd application for an E-9 Visa has started, some of you might be contacting with companies.


Today, in preparation for the second application for an E-9 visa, I will inform you about what you need or need to know when applying for an E-9 visa.


1. E-9 applicable countries: Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, China, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, East Timor, Laos, Tajikistan


2. requirements for foreign workers

- EPS-TOPIK National Quarter Passing and Scoring Over 80 Points

- A person who has obtained a labor-related visa and is not within six months of leaving the country

- A person who has no experience of crime or activity that is grounds for denial of entry into Korea


3. the employment process

Job search results confirmed in EPS system → Labor contract signing between employer and foreigner (standard labor contract) → Support for signing and introducing labor contract by Korea Human Resources Development Service → Acquisition of visa issuance certificate between employer and Ministry of Justice → Foreigners obtain employment visa (E-9) from overseas missions and enter Korea after completing training → Health examination and employment training completed → Monitoring and supporting adaptation to Korea


4. required documents

- an application form

- an original passport

- 1 standard photo

- Copy of Business Registration Certificate

- a copy of the employment permit

- a copy of a standard labor contract

- Drug confirmation check (within 3 months, to be sealed)

2025 2차 E-9 고용주 신청이 시작된 만큼, 외국인 여러분들 중 일부는 회사에 컨택하는 등의 활동을 하고 계실 거라 사료됩니다.


오늘은 E-9비자 2차 신청을 대비해, E-9 비자 신청시 필요하거나, 알아야 할 사항에 대해 안내드리겠습니다.


1. E-9 신청 가능 국가: 태국, 필리핀, 스리랑카, 베트남, 인도네시아, 몽골, 파키스탄, 우즈베키스탄, 캄보디아, 중국, 방글라데시, 네팔, 미얀마, 키르기스스탄, 동티모르, 라오스, 타지키스탄


2. 외국인 근로자 요건

- EPS-TOPIK 국가별 쿼터 통과 및 80점 이상의 득점

- 노동 관련 비자를 취득했다 출국한지 6개월 이내가 아닌 자

- 국내 입국 거부사유가 되는 범죄 혹은 활동 경력이 없는 자


3. 고용 진행 과정

EPS 시스템에서의 구인구직 결과 취업 확인 → 사용자와 외국인 간 근로계약 체결(표준근로계약서)  → 산업인력공단의 근로계약 체결 및 도입 지원  → 사용자와 법무부 간 사증발급 인정서 획득  → 외국인은 재외공관으로부터 취업사증(E-9)을 발급, 교육 이수 후 한국 입국  → 건강진단 및 취업교육 이수  → 모니터링 및 한국 적응 지원


4. 필요 서류

- 신청서

- 여권원본

- 표준규격 사진 1장

- 사업자등록증 사본

- 고용허가서 사본

- 표준근로계약서 사본

- 마약확인 검사서(3개월 이내, 밀봉되어야 함)
