The second E-7-4 technical manpower conversion announcement has been made in 2025.
This announcement on the conversion of skilled workers is an announcement that helps foreigners who have been working in the domestic manufacturing industry with E-9 and H-2 qualifications for more than four years in the past 10 years to obtain E-7 visas.
As it's an opportunity to switch to E-7, one of the most popular visas, if you're eligible, please discuss it with the company to switch your visa.
1. Recommend size (Ministry of SMEs and Startups): 1650 people
2. Conditions of Support
- A person who has stayed in Korea for more than four years with the relevant qualifications (E-9, E-10, H-2) for the last 10 years and is currently working normally at his/her workplace
(Special case) Subject to the requirement if a person who has been staying in a non-metropolitan area for more than three years has been recommended by a metropolitan local government
- E-7-4 employment contract for the next two years or more with an annual salary of more than 26 million won at the current workplace
- A person who has been recommended by a company that has been working for more than one year
- A person who scores at least 200 points, including additional points among 300 points (excluding additional points), with the minimum point (50 points) of each basic item's average income and Korean proficiency
(Special case) If the non-Korean score requirements are met (total score of 150 points or more), a temporary suspension will be made on the condition that Korean proficiency will be supplemented until the first extension (2 years).~ '26.12.31'

- Application for recommendation of conversion of status of residence for skilled technical personnel (E-7-4)
- the first part of a pledge
- One copy of the consent form for collecting, using, and providing personal and corporate information
- One copy of the ID card of the recommender (corporate representative)
- 1 copy of the employment enterprise business registration certificate
- Employment Enterprise Small and Medium Enterprise Confirmation Book 1
- a copy of an alien registration card and passport

2. 지원 조건
- 최근 10년간 해당 자격(E-9, E-10, H-2)으로 4년 이상 체류한 현재 국내 체류 등록 외국인으로 현재 근무처에서 정상 근로 중인 자
(특례) 비수도권에서 3년 이상 체류 중인 자가 광역지자체 추천을 받은 경우 대상자 요건 해당
- 현재 근무처에서 연봉 2,600만원 이상으로 향후 2년 이상 E-7-4 고용계약
- 현재 1년 이상 근무 중인 기업의 추천을 받은 자
- 기본항목의 평균소득 및 한국어능력 각각 최소점(50점) 이상자로 300점 만점(가점 제외) 중 가점 포함 200점 이상 득점자
(특례) 한국어 외 점수 요건을 충족(총점 150점 이상)할 경우 최초 연장(2년)시까지 한국어 능력 보완할 것을 조건으로 한시적 유예(.∼ ’26. 12. 31.)
