In January, when we plan for 2025, the government is also pouring out a lot of foreign policies.
It's something I've introduced once in the past, but as the Ministry of Justice announced its 2025 plan yesterday, I'll look into it again.
1. Top-Tier Visa And New Youth Dream Visa
- Top-tier visas are granted to foreigners who have obtained a science and engineering degree from the world's top universities or have worked at the same level of companies and research institutes
- A new youth dream visa with the benefit of language training, internship, and employment at the same time
2. Proposals for Visa and Stay Policy and Introduction of Wide Area Visas
- If there is an idea to improve the system or demand for foreign workers in the industry or local governments, it will be proposed directly to the Ministry of Justice to supplement the visa and stay-related system
- Introduction of wide-area visas that allow each region to adjust the detailed visa requirements
3. Strengthening Immigrant Social Integration
- EPS-TOPIK textbook revision ==> Get this textbook for free now!
- Change the KIIP process to suit real life
- Introduction of IBT such as TOPIK, KIIP, etc

- 세계 최상위권 대학에서 이공계 학위를 취득하거나 같은 수준의 기업, 연구소에 재직한 외국인에게 톱-티어 비자를 부여
- 어학연수와 인턴·취업을 동시에 할 수 있는 혜택을 가진 청년드림비자 신설
2. 비자·체류정책 제안제 및 광역형 비자 도입
- 산업계나 지자체 등에서 외국인 인력 수요나 제도 개선 아이디어가 있을 경우, 이를 직접 법무부에 제안해 비자·체류 관련 제도를 보완
- 각 지역에서 비자 세부 요건을 조정할 수 있는 광역형 지역 비자 도입
3. 이민자 사회통합 강화
- EPS-TOPIK 교과서 개정
- KIIP 과정 실생활에 맞게 변경
- TOPIK, KIIP 등의 IBT 도입
