Incheon Technopark is hosting the '2025 Incheon International Startup Competition (IFC 2025)', a startup competition where participants can earn bonus points for the D-8-4 visa.

- 1st Round Document Submission: August 4, 2025 (Mon) - August 14, 2025 (Thu) 16:00 deadline
- 1st Round Document Evaluation Results Announcement: August 22, 2025 (Fri)
- 2nd Round Presentation Evaluation: August 28, 2025 (Thu) - 29 (Fri) / Individual notification of dates for document evaluation qualifiers
- Venue: Incheon Startup Park INSTA I, 6th Floor Connect Hall
- Awards Ceremony: To be announced later
Eligible Participants: Foreign nationals preparing to start technology-based businesses in Incheon
※ Preferential Conditions: ① Incheon residents or those hoping to reside in Incheon
② D-10 visa holders with domestic study experience or expected graduates
Winning Teams: 10 teams
- Excellence Teams (Tier 1) 4 teams / 10 million KRW in commercialization funds
- Encouragement Teams (Tier 2) 6 teams / 5 million KRW in commercialization funds
- The number of winners may be adjusted if participants do not meet the winning qualifications
- Prize money will be provided as commercialization funds (voucher format) that can be used after the winning team establishes a corporation (no cash payment)
Application and Submission
Document Evaluation Criteria
- Business Understanding: Understanding of the Korean market and specificity of business plan
- Feasibility and Validity: Realism of startup plan and necessity of business item
- Corporation Establishment Possibility: Possibility of establishing a corporation within the year
- Financial and Investment Plan: Required fund scale and procurement plan, realistic financial plan
This competition is said to focus on evaluating actual startup and commercialization potential rather than just simple idea submissions.

※ 우대조건 : ① 인천 지역 거주자 또는 거주 희망자
② 국내 유학경험이 있는 D-10 비자 소지자 또는 졸업예정자
3. 입 상 팀 : 10팀
- 우수팀(Tier 1) 4팀 / 사업화 자금 1,000만원
- 장려팀(Tier 2) 6팀 / 사업화 자금 500만원
* 대회 참여자 입상 자격요건 미 충족시 입상 인원수 조정될 수 있음
* 상금은 입상팀 법인설립 후 사용할 수 있는 사업화 자금(바우처 형식)으로 지급(현금 지급 X)

- 재무 및 투자유치 계획 : 필요자금 규모 및 조달계획, 현실적 재무 계획
